Biography

My name is Hayden Bandel and I am entering my sophomore year as a Media Studies and Production major with a certificate in sports media. At Temple, I am involved with many of the Klein-run student organizations, such as OwlSportsUpdate and WHIP Radio. Honestly, being involved in these clubs has been the most memorable part of college for me thus far. Not only have these clubs given me the opportunity to strengthen my resume and allow me to do what I love, but I have also met some of my closest friends within these clubs. One thing I would want first-year students to know is not to be afraid to get involved immediately. It can seem overwhelming at first, but I believe it is what gave me a better start to my college career, and have heard many of my peers say they wish they got involved earlier than they initially did.
