Biography

Bryton McNeese is an academic advisor and has worked in academic and student affairs for seven years. She was born and raised in Texas and received her degrees from Texas State University. Her bachelor’s is in history and English with a concentration in creative writing, and her master’s is in developmental education. In the fall 2021 semester, she will be working on a MFA in Creative Writing at Arcadia University.  

Bryton enjoys reading and writing fantasy, but also has a recent passion for the murder mystery genre. On the weekends, you can find her practicing yoga or roller skating in the park. She has an orange cat named Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit, named after Whataburger’s iconic breakfast sandwich.
