For Students Earning a Master’s Degree

Klein College offers merit-based scholarships on a competitive basis to students pursuing full-time study in one of the following programs.

• Master of Journalism
• Media Studies and Production MA
• Communication for Development and Social Change MS
• Communication Management MS (online) 

In addition to these scholarships, an annual travel award of $500 is available for students presenting their research and creative projects at conferences.

Teaching Assistantships for Doctoral Students

Learn and work alongside faculty, influencing and inspiring a diverse and dynamic population of undergraduate students. As part of the admissions process, all doctoral applicants are considered for funding for a small number of competitive fellowships and teaching assistantships. Starting in their third year, funded students are given the opportunity to teach their own class as the instructor of record. This provides Klein College doctoral students with the opportunity to gain vital experience assisting professors in both large and small classroom settings and teach classes within their area of specialization.

Teaching assistantships are assigned upon entering the program and offer four years of support that include the following.

• Health insurance
• Stipend
• Tuition remission

Teaching assistants who are presenting research or work at a conference may access an additional $500 annual travel award.
