Klein College’s pre-college summer workshops will teach you the basics of media—including broadcasting, reporting and writing—and how to think about projects through the lens of the university’s main laboratory of Philadelphia.
The pre-college workshops will be held at Klein College for students entering grades 10, 11 or 12, offering a chance to experience Temple University academics while exploring potential college majors through non-credit workshops.
Students in Temple's pre-college workshops can do the following:
-
Attend two non-credit workshops (one in the morning and one in the afternoon, topics vary depending on dates)
-
Develop their interests in various academic fields
-
Build their confidence and sense of independence
-
Engage in interactive, project-based learning
-
Make new friends and build community with other students from diverse backgrounds.
The pre-college workshops offer three two-week sessions throughout the summer. All Klein College sessions will be held in person at Annenberg Hall, located at 2020 N. 13th Street between Norris and Diamond Streets. The sessions will be held:
-
June 26–July 7, 2023
-
